Pick your neighbourhood

Each page covers the homes in that part of Mississauga and the floors that suit them.

Three kinds of home, three kinds of floor

Housing changes a lot from one end of Mississauga to the other, and so does the right floor.

Condos

City Centre towers near Square One, Cooksville and the Port Credit waterfront. Vinyl plank and engineered hardwood, installed to the building's underlay and noise rules.

Older homes

Lakeshore character houses in Port Credit, Clarkson bungalows and Streetsville's older streets. Often original hardwood worth refinishing, plus tile and stairs to match.

Family subdivisions

Erin Mills, Meadowvale and Churchill Meadows. Carpet for bedrooms and stairs, waterproof vinyl plank for basements, laminate or hardwood for busy main floors.

Neighbourhood by neighbourhood

Port Credit

Port Credit has two kinds of home side by side: older character houses along Lakeshore Road with original wood underfoot, and newer waterfront condos near the marina. The houses usually call for hardwood, new or refinished, often with a stair runner to match. The condos lean toward low-maintenance vinyl plank. More on flooring installation in Port Credit.

Clarkson

Clarkson sits in southwest Mississauga near the lake, around Clarkson Village and Lakeshore Road West. Many of its mid-century bungalows have solid hardwood under decades-old carpet, and hardwood floor refinishing often brings it back for less than a new floor. More on flooring installation in Clarkson.

Streetsville

Known as the Village in the City, Streetsville runs along Queen Street South with mature, tree-lined streets and older detached homes, some of them century houses. Older homes need extra care with the subfloor and the original trim. Hardwood, staircases, tile and carpet all come up here. More on flooring installation in Streetsville.

Erin Mills

Erin Mills is a large planned community of subdivisions near Erin Mills Town Centre and Credit Valley Hospital, full of detached family homes. The usual mix is carpet in the bedrooms, waterproof vinyl plank in the basement and laminate on a busy main floor. More on flooring installation in Erin Mills.

Meadowvale

Meadowvale was built out through the 1970s and 80s around Lake Aquitaine, and many of its townhomes and detached houses still have their first floors. Most jobs here replace dated original flooring with laminate or vinyl plank, finish a basement or recarpet the stairs. More on flooring installation in Meadowvale.

Churchill Meadows

Churchill Meadows is a newer part of west Mississauga, built largely through the 2000s, with larger family homes and open-concept main floors. Long, open runs suit engineered or solid hardwood, with the stairs done to match. More on flooring installation in Churchill Meadows.

Cooksville

Cooksville is the centre of Mississauga around Hurontario Street and Dundas, where condos, older houses and rental units share the same few blocks. Landlords call us for quick rental turnovers, and owners of older homes for full main-floor replacements. More on flooring installation in Cooksville and our flooring for landlords service.

City Centre

City Centre is the high-rise heart of Mississauga around Square One and Burnhamthorpe. A condo install is as much about logistics as the floor itself: underlay rules, elevator bookings and set work hours. We fit vinyl plank and engineered hardwood suited to condo living. How a job runs, wherever you live

  1. Tell us about the job. The rooms, the floor you have in mind, and anything we should know, like a condo board's rules.
  2. Free in-home measure. We measure, check the subfloor, bring samples and give you a written quote.
  3. Install day. We move the larger furniture, take up and haul away the old floor if you want it gone, prep the subfloor and fit the new one.
  4. Finish and clean up. Trim and transitions go back on, and the room is left ready to use.

Prices for every floor are in the flooring installation cost guide.

Questions about where we work

Do you work outside these neighbourhoods?

Yes. We install floors and carpet across all of Mississauga. The neighbourhood pages cover the areas we hear from most, and the list above names more. If you are not sure, put your address in the quote form.

Is the in-home measure free everywhere in Mississauga?

Yes. We come to you, measure, check the subfloor and give you a written quote, with no charge and no obligation.

Do condo installs need anything extra?

Usually, yes. Most condo boards set rules for underlay, work hours and elevator bookings. We check the building’s requirements before anything is ordered and plan the install around them. See flooring installation in City Centre for how a condo job runs.

What does flooring installation cost in Mississauga?

Installed prices run from about $4 per sq ft for carpet, laminate and vinyl plank up to $20 per sq ft for solid hardwood and large-format tile, before HST. See the flooring installation cost guide for each floor.

Can I see jobs you have done?

Yes. Our recent projects page shows real jobs with the photos we took on the day.
