Where we install carpet
Carpet works in the rooms where comfort and quiet matter most. We install wall-to-wall carpet throughout Mississauga homes, from Port Credit to Churchill Meadows.
Common jobs we handle:
Bedrooms and primary suites
Finished basements and rec rooms
Home offices and dens
Stairs and landings
Hallways and closets
Rental units and condos before a new tenant moves in
If you are carpeting a whole level or a single room, the process is the same: a proper measure, honest material advice, and a clean install.
Our carpet installation process
A carpet lasts longer and looks better when the prep is done properly. Here is how a typical job runs.
Free in-home measure. We measure each room, check the subfloor, and note transitions and seam locations. You get a written quote with the carpet and underpad spelled out.
Old carpet removal. We lift the existing carpet, underpad, tack strip, and staples, then check the subfloor underneath for damage or squeaks.
Subfloor inspection and prep. We flag any soft spots, moisture concerns, or uneven areas before new material goes down.
Fresh underpad and tack strip. New underpad and tack strip go in every time. Reusing old padding shortens the life of a new carpet.
Seaming and fitting. Seams are placed away from high-traffic sightlines where possible and heat-sealed for a flat, secure join.
Power-stretching. We power-stretch the carpet across the room so it sits tight to the tack strip. This is the step that prevents the ripples and buckling you get from a knee-kicker-only install.
Cleanup and haul-away. We tidy the site and remove the old carpet and offcuts.
Power-stretching and a fresh underpad are the two things that separate a carpet that stays flat for years from one that wrinkles in a season.
Carpet types we install
The right carpet depends on the room, the foot traffic, and who lives in the home. We install supply-and-install carpet, or we can fit broadloom you have already purchased.
Nylon. Durable and resilient. A common pick for stairs, hallways, and busy family areas.
Polyester and PET. Soft underfoot with good stain resistance. Often chosen for bedrooms and budgets.
Wool. A natural fibre with a premium feel and good wear. A higher-end option.
Berber loop. A looped, low-profile carpet that hides footprints and suits basements and offices.
Plush and saxony. A smooth, cut-pile carpet with a soft, formal look for living areas and bedrooms.
Patterned and textured. Cut-and-loop styles that add texture and disguise everyday wear.
Not sure which fibre fits your space? We bring options to the in-home measure so you can compare colour and feel in your own light.
Underpad options
Underpad is the layer you never see and always feel. It adds comfort, muffles sound, and protects the carpet backing. We match the underpad density to the room – a firmer pad for stairs and high traffic, a softer, thicker pad for bedrooms. We will walk you through the choices at the quote.
Old carpet haul-away and disposal
You do not need to deal with the old flooring. We remove your existing carpet, underpad, and tack strip, and haul it away for disposal. Furniture moving is available too, so you are not clearing heavy pieces on your own before we arrive.
